Sony 'The Bottled Walkman' by DraftFCB

This is a pretty unique advertising idea, and something Sony needs to be doing more of in order to keep the Walkman brand alive.  I'd kill for a water bottle with the Sony Walkman Logo.  I'm sure they will appear on ebay or somewhere but won't be cheap.  Bravo Sony and DraftFCB for a great idea.

Sony Bluetooth NC Headphones (MDR-NWBT20N) Review

After about a month of waiting, my MDR-NWBT20N headphones finally arrived this past Friday.  This is my first Japanese Sony product and having used the headphones for about 3 days now the first thing that came to me was, Why isn't Sony selling this in Europe?

Rest of the review after the break.

M-Series dissembled

(click on photo for larger size)

Not much to see here, just one photo but it is interesting to see Sony crammed both noise cancellation, and the S-master MX amp into this little sucker.  I don't understand why Sony can't just add both these features to an Xperia mobile phone, not like the current Z1 is that small, it could easily fit these features if Sony tried hard enough.

On a brighter note, my new headphones have arrived, the MDR-NWBT20Ns :D.  The review will come up this weekend, already tested the device with my Xperia Z1 and my Vaio Pro 13, works perfectly and actually pretty good sound quality considering it is Bluetooth.  Stay tuned.

The Pressman was the first Walkman

As mentioned in the video, the Pressman was aimed at reporters and when Akio Morita (Sony Chairman) saw a colleque using the Pressman (TCM-100) to listen to music on cassette, he got an idea, why not release a device that only plays cassettes? And as they say, the rest is history.

More information on the Pressman here.
