Sony Introduces 4 New Bluetooth headphones
Easy listening: it’s all yours with four new Bluetooth® headphones from Sony
Rest of the press release after the break.
Fresh additions to Sony’s headphone line-up bring you thrilling sound and effortless style while you’re out and about – without the tangle of wires to slow you down.
Brand-new headphone models for spring offer the freedom and convenience of Bluetooth® wireless listening. Just touch your NFC-enabled Walkman®, MP3 player or smartphone against the headphone to make an instant wireless connection. Then settle back and enjoy music as you’ve always hoped it would sound – with rich, controlled bass and detailed, crystalline highs.
MDR-1ABT
Even if you’re listening to your MP3 music library, Sony DSEE technology delivers a more natural sound experience, restoring high-frequency information and subtle reverb tails that get lost in heavily-compressed audio files.
MDR-ZX770BN
Connect wirelessly with a single touch to your phone or Bluetooth®-enabled MP3 player, then while away the longest trip – or just a fraught day in the office – with soothing, pristine audio. The headphone’s handy swivel design stows away easily, saving space in a bag or suitcase while you’re travelling. A generous music playback time of 13 hours (with NC on) between battery charges lets you enjoy lengthy plane or train journeys without interruption.

Looks like Sony finally released the new headphones that went through the FCC lately. I only posted the 770s, but the MDR-1ABTs also went through the FCC but I decided not to post them. I had a feeling LDAC support was coming, be it only on the high end MDR-1ABTs.
Btw my A-Series Review is finally coming this weekend, so stay tuned.

MDR-1ABT
Joining the acclaimed MDR-1A, the luxurious MDR-1ABT brings you wireless, high quality audio.
It’s Sony’s first reference-quality headphone featuring LDAC™, a new audio technology from Sony that enables high quality wirelesslistening via Bluetooth®. Transmitting three times the data of ordinary Bluetooth links, this efficient new codec lets you stream pristine, lag-free high-quality audio wirelessly from compatible devices like the premium High-Resolution Audio music player NW-ZX2 Walkman.
From sonorous bass to uncoloured mids and ultra highs, you’ll enjoy extended full-bandwidth sound from the 40mm HD driver units – with every musical nuance reproduced precisely thanks to aluminium-coated Liquid Crystal Polymer Film diaphragms. Your absolute comfort comes first, with ergonomic ear pads and an advanced enfolding structure that fits snuggly around the ear.

Another exciting innovation is the addition of a touch sensor on the side of the headphone. Skip tracks, take phone calls or adjust volume with simple, intuitive fingertip gestures: now there’s even less to distract you from the music.
MDR-ZX770BN
Travel in style – and blissful silence – with Sony’s latest Digital Noise Cancelling Bluetooth headphones. With a comfortable around-the-ear design for extra comfort on long journeys, the MDR-ZX770BN cuts cabin noise and other background sounds using Sony’s powerful DNC software engine.

MDR-ZX330BT
Everyday Bluetooth wireless listening is made supremely simple and convenient with the MDR-ZX330BT. Slip on the light, comfortable over-ear headphones and hook up to your phone or MP3 player with easy One-touch connection. You’re assured powerful, well-balanced sound by 30mm driver units, while 30-hour battery life for wireless listening means you won’t run out of juice during the daily commute or overnight trip.

MDR-AS600BT
In tune with your active life, the MDR-AS600BT brings the convenience of Bluetooth listening to the toughest workout – or just a gentle jog round the park.
The splash-proof design wards off rain and perspiration during gruelling training sessions. And with the built-in mic it’s easy to take phone calls at the touch of a button without missing a beat while you’re on the treadmill.
The new MDR-1ABT, MDR-ZX770BN, MDR-ZX330BT headphones from Sony are on sale in Europe from May and MDR-AS600BT from April.
