Sony LinkBuds Clip (WF-LC900) FCC Teardown
The LinkBuds Clip were announced earlier this week, and the lack of LC3 made me wonder if Sony has switched up the Bluetooth chipset from the V2 (MT2833), to something else. The FCC internal photos became available on Friday, so time to dive in to see what they reveal.

The battery life of 9 hours is actually longer than the 8 hours on the LinkBuds Open and Fit. There is no mention of LC3 support, but I would imagine the Clip will support it (?). We have no charging case weight, so depending on the internal battery capacity, it could be around 35-40g. Availability should be close to the announcement date, but this will be region specific.
So anyone excited for these? Personally I am more curious to see the teardown and components, but these will find fans amongst Sony's userbase.

Sony CES 2026 Preview
I remember when CES was something to look forward to. New tech and sometimes even concepts. But now, meh. Guess the Consumer part of Consumer Electronics Show died. I do not even remember the last time Sony showed anything of interest at the show, maybe 2021? or 2020?
