Sony NW-ZX100 leaked, sort of

The shots are rather poor but it gives a good general idea of what to expect, basically a thinner device by the looks of it and probably a non-touch screen.  So perhaps instead of replacing the ZX2, the ZX100 will slot under it but above the A20.

If anyone has the link to the Digi-wo post or article where the original images are found, please leave a comment with the link.

NW-A25 and A26 Pass through E-Postel

Just like the A27 and ZX100 which passed through E-Postel back in the middle of June, the other variants of the new A-Series have also finally passed through E-Postel.  Unlike before where only the A15 passed through E-Postel, perhaps this time around Sony may decide to sell the larger capacity versions in other countries.  Although this may not be the case, so we will have to wait and see what happens at IFA this year.

At any rate, the new A-Series should be available hopefully earlier than the previous model, which became available in stores in early October here in Poland instead of late September which was the original date.  Hopefully once Sony releases their IFA teaser, we might get a glimpse of the new A and ZX.

Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain Special Edition Walkams Released in Japan

To coincide with the release of Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain, Sony Japan has released a special edition of the ZX2 and A16 Walkman.  The ZX2 will priced at 140,000 Yen (1020 Euros) and the A-Series at 28,000 Yen (around 200 Euros).  Both features special engraving from The Phantom Pain game and come pre-loaded with the full soundtrack in High Definition.  In addition special wallpapers are also provided.  Apart from the fact the ZX2 is priced in the region of ridiculous like the regular model, I feel the A-Series is a much better purchase for the average Walkman fan who does not have a grand to shell out on another device.

While I rarely post any special editions since they are usually limited to Japan, I will mention that most come out near the end of a product's life cycle, meaning a new model is coming soon to replace it.  The new A20 Walkman is coming at IFA and so is a new ZX model, but if it will replace the ZX2 remains to be seen.

New Blog Design

Hello everyone, I have not been posting for a while since I was a bit busy with things outside of the blog but I have more free time now.  As everyone has noticed I have switched up the blog design again.  The previous design was okay was not to my satisfaction, so after a lot of searching and testing for a new design I have settled upon this one for now.  I am happy with the look but there are still some issue, mainly with the images either not being sized correctly or are cut off.  I want to fix the image issue by next week, if not, then I will live with it.

The navigation has not changed much but I did add some menus under the logo which when selected can lead directly to the varies labels.  For example, selecting Walkmans reveals most of the walkman model labels which when selected will display all posts for that model.

Rumours and news are now accessible via the top menu as well for much quicker glance at past news and rumours.  In addition there is now a Don't Miss section that displays various new and popular posts.  On the far right are the popular posts, archive and labels if one wishes to see all of them.

That is it for now, I am working on 3 reviews, the MDR-A3 headphones, M-Series review and the WH505 review, will have those up before IFA which is coming up really fast in less than a month.  New walkmans are expected to be at the show, mainly new NWZ-A20  and a new ZX100 model, but that is not to say Sony might not bring either a new cheaper model, possibly E or S series and an update to the Headphone walkman, but I have not heard of anything for the latter, only the former.
