So far very little information is out there for these 2 mystery speakers, they appear to be part of a new line of speakers, XP. I have identified 2 models, the SRS-XP500 and SRS-XB700, neither have appeared on the US FCC, only the Korean FCC (XP500) and E-ComM (XP500, XP700).

Perhaps XP stands for Extra Performance? Extra Power? I do not believe it is a type, since it has appeared on 2 different sites already. If anyone has any ideas, please leave them in the comments. My guess is that these are probably high end premium wireless speakers, either with Bluetooth 5.0 or even 5.2.
I would imagine we will see these speakers later this year, IFA 2021 is one place, but Sony could just as easily debut these in a press release in the next few months.
LSPX-S3
The LSPX-S3 is the successor of the LSPX-S2 Glass speaker. I guess the speaker sold that well that Sony feels a new model is justified. The power rating is as follow:
- DC 7.34V from Li-ion Battery
- DC 5V 1.5A from Host Unit
Codec support should remain the same as the current model, AAC, SBC and LDAC. Likewise, 2 speakers can be connected as well to act as right and left channels. Bluetooth LE (at least 5.0, could be 5.2) will be supported. Oddly enough, the FCC filings only have 2402.0 to
2480.0 Mhz, so definitely testing Bluetooth, but no 5 Ghz WiFi which is present on the current model. Does this mean WiFi connectivity could be dropped from the new model? Maybe, we will see once it is released.

Short term confidentiality ends on September 20th, so the LSPX-S3 should debut before then.
Update #1
The speakers have appeared on Sony's Encompass parts site and it is filled with many parts. Link here. SRS-XP500 link here.
Likewise, I have noticed another speaker has appeared on the list, SRS-XG500 (link here). No idea what model this is, I have not seen it anywhere on any site except there. Looks like another new line?
I also found this, a link which has the SRS-XP700 listed. It seems to be some kind of import site, it describes the speaker like this:
- Bluetooth 5.0
- no NFC
- USB charging
- without radio receiver or recording ability
- Manufacturer: TCL Technoly Electronics (Huizhou) Co.
Here is a certification for the SRS-XP700 from ATT Bolivia.
I suspect we could be looking at a late Spring or early Summer reveal for these speakers. High chance these will be at IFA 2021 now that it will return as an in-person event in September.
Update 2:
Looks like Sony has revealed these much earlier than I expected, perhaps a WF-1000XM4 reveal could be sooner as well? Link to the press release.
