It looks like Sony will have 3 new gaming headsets this year, the YY2961 (above), the WH-G700 (YY2960) and WH-G900N (YY2959). Very little information exists about them, I have a longer post about the WH-G900N here.
Both the WH-G700 and WH-G900N come with something called "head capture", no idea what this is, perhaps related to VR? We know the 2 model names, but are still lacking the third model. Perhaps the YY2961 is a lower end device, WH-G500 perhaps? Or could it be something else?

Update:
So a minor update, a while ago another headset appeared online, the YY2965. This is not a headset, but instead a USB transceiver, most likely for the gaming headsets and quite possibly for the Playstation 5. I also think the USB transceiver will also come in handy for PC gaming. but might not be required for PC gaming.
Update 2:
Two of the gaming headsets appeared on E-Comm. The YY2959 (WH-G900N) is labelled as Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset and YY2960 (WH-G700) is labelled as Wireless Gaming Headset. Both headsets look like they will come with the USB transceiver, YY2965. Hopefully these will leak soon.

Unlike other headsets, this only has a 5V power rating from the USB, with no internal battery. The device was also certified last week in Canada.
I do wonder if this USB transceiver will ship with the headphones or you will have to buy it separately? Most PCs will work with the headphones, so perhaps the YY2965 will only be needed for the PlayStation 5? Below is the YY2959 label diagram from the FCC, showing a mic on the side of the earpads.
Finally, a release date is most likely around the fall, IFA 2022, either a a day or few days before the event. I would imagine it would be relayed to some PlayStation event.
