NWZ-F800 Firmware update to v1.13

Sony Indonesia released a firmware update for the older F-Series.  The update is for Indonesia, but Sony Europe also has released the update on their site, dated April 23rd. The changes are as follows:

Contents of the update

This utility updates the Walkman® player to system software version 1.13 and provides the following benefits:

• Addressed the issue where the WALKMAN may not properly playback the playlists transferred from Media Go.

Improvements provided by previous updates and included in version 1.13:

• Improvement in network performance, and a stability improvement of operation

Applicable ModelsNWZ-F800Series (NWZ-F804/F805/F806) that have system software version lower than 1.13.

As one can see on the European support page, there are different firmware versions related to the different regions, so best to download the one from your region, in order to minimize any problems with the update.
