Sony teaser the upcoming LinkBuds S

Sony Japan has teased the new LinkBuds S. For those curious how it looks like, check out the leaked press photos post here. We do not know many of the technical details but here is what we know so far.

First, these will offer the same pass through sound experience like the new LinkBuds. Second, noise cancellation will be present but it is unknown if it is hybrid ANC. Finally, it will be offered in 3 colours. We have a rumoured price of $199, which I believe to be accurate, and their size seems similar to the WF-C500, which could mean we will see a similarly sized battery inside.

The Japanese reveal is slated for May 19th at 10:00 local time. I believe we will see the English announcement soon and it should be revealed at similar times like the WH-1000XM5, but on May 18th.
