Sony CES 2025 Preview

 

CES 2025 started on Sunday, but Sony will have their press conference on Monday at 5pm local time. I am embedding the stream below. If you click the stream it will tell you when it will be live in your area.

I do not expect any major announcements with regards to audio like Walkmans or wireless headsets. The only 2 audio headsets that we know of are YY2984 and YY2986. Apart from the certifications, YY2986 has already been leaked thanks to the certification from Taiwan, but I do not expect any announcement at the show. In fact I will be surprised. 

We do not even have a certification for YY2984, so who knows when that is expected to arrive. I am sure something will be announced but it might not anything users are eagerly awaiting like the WH-1000XM6 or WF-1000XM6.

Update: And the show is over, and of course no new products were revealed, because remember when Sonya actually revealed new products at the show? Ya.

Well guess we wait for new models to be certified and new leaks.
