Sony YY3004 - What is it?

A trusted source has provided me with a new model code, YY3004. The only information is the colour, black, white and blue. The jump to YY3xxx is surprising, as we still have many more other codes after YY2986 (WF-C710N), so a mystery on that front.

The only headsets which offers these colours are the WH-CH720N and WH-CH520. Both of these were announced in February 2023, so it is possible are looking at a successor of either model, as it has been 2 years.

 

Depending on the region, the WH-CH520 did have a 4th colour option, Beige, so perhaps YY3004 is the new WH-CH720N, or WH-CH730N, assuming Sony keeps the same naming scheme. Question is, what model code dose the WF-1000XM6 use?
