Sony WF-1000XM3 and WF-SP800N Firmware update

The pulled firmware update from a few weeks back for the Sony WF-1000XM3 and WF-SP800N has finally arrived. The firmware versions are 3.1.2 for the WF-1000XM3 and version 1.1.0 for the WF-SP800N.

The main change is:

  • Improves Bluetooth connection stability

Updates for battery and connection stability are always welcome, so this should help users who have had issues with the headsets dropping their connections. 

Both these models use the same Bluetooth SoC, so developing firmware updates should be quicker, but they still require testing which I would imagine was the issue with the earlier pulled firmware. Probably some bug was discovered last minute and it had to be fixed.

    Only one side works to connect the left cant single use now.

      I am guessing this is the WF-1000XM3?

      have you tried resetting it?
