Sony WF-C500 Price revealed by Retailers

Two weeks I posted high resolution photos and full specifications of the new WF-C500. The retail listing also had a price, $79 USD, but Sony's own Rewards site showed 9999 points, pointing to a $99 price. Now with some new retail listings, it looks like we can expect a higher starting price and some details on retail availability.

The Mediamarkt listing shows that the new WF-C500 will be priced at 99 Euros, but not when it will be available.

A listing on Axitech.be shows a price of 90.95 Euros. The website shows all 4 colours, black, white, green and orange. Likewise according to the site, new stock is expected in the middle of October, so we can probably expect a press release soon or reveal I hope.

It looks like all 4 colour will be offered in Europe, prices will vary due local VAT levels but it should be around 99 Euros. This could indicate will be looking at $99 USD when it launches in the US.

Hopefully the current parts and shipping issues due to Covid will not affect retail availability globally, but I suspect it might with not as many retail units available as normally one would expect. This model is manufactured in Vietnam and the country has had some lockdowns and temporary factory closures which no doubt have affected Sony and their OEM that makes these.
