Sony Headphones Connect App Connectivity Issues
Are you have problems logging into the Sony Headphones Connect app? Well you are not alone. Users on reddit and Sony's own support forums are reporting they are not able to connect to the app network.
The problems do not appear to be isolated to any one region, with users around the world experiencing this problem.
According to a user on Sony's support forums, the issue stems from "Sony SSL certificate for their EULA expiring". This sounds plausible, but my app for the moment seems to work just fine. I tested my WH-CH720N and WF-C700N and both log in and function just fine. Maybe it based on timezone and location?
Someone mentioned you can try and change the date on your phone to March 9th to get the app to sign in and load.
Is anyone experiencing any issues?
I will mention, Sony's headsets can be used without the app, but you will lose the ability to select the EQ and other functions, but they should still be able to pair to phone or tablet.
I am not sure if Sony has experienced such issues before with the app, at least not this widespread. Early April Fool's joke?
