Sony WF-1000XM5 Firmware Update, version 3.3.1
Sony has released a new firmware update for the WF-1000XM5 earbuds. Recall back in early June, the earbuds passed through Bluetooth SIG but the software version was 4.0, so we might still see a future update later on.
This update seems to fix a playback bug:
- Improves the operational stability of the headphones during music playback
The update does include all previous updates. Before updating, make sure both your phone and earbuds are fully charged and the headphone is updated to the latest version.
The earbuds are currently on sale on Amazon during for their Prime days event, around 25% discount.

Any news about new products in IFA 2024?Five years ago sony released ZX500 and A100 series in IFA 2019 as walkman 40th Anniversary commemorate products so I wonder if Sony will do the same thing for the 45th anniversary.
ReplyDeleteNo new wifi enabled devices have been registered apart from 3 wireless earbud models. I don't think we will see any new wifi walkmans this fall, who knows for the rest of the year or early next,
