New Sony INZONE Gaming Gear Unveiling

Sony will unveil a few new INZONE products tomorrow. The new headset was hinted by billbil_kun and dealabs in their article, but we will get 4 new products in total. Thanks to the teaser from Sony themselves, we have confirmation of the new INZONE H9 II headset, a wireless gaming mouse, a wireless gaming keyboard, and a 4th mystery device. I have been covering  the new INZONE products since April, with posts for the headset here, and the wireless keyboard and mouse here. I did speculate we would see the new headset near the end of August.

The teaser photo on Sony's twitter is much bigger and has a bit more detail. I brightened it up to show the new products.

WH-G910N (INZONE H9 II)

The design seems more rounded compared to the current model. Supposedly the microphone is removable. Black and white colours will be offered. Price is 349 Euros.

Wireless Gaming Mouse

No model name yet, it does seem to follow the rounded design of the new headset.

Wireless Gaming Keyboard

Again no model name yet. Hopefully something will leak soon.

In-ear headphones

Finally, this is the 4th mystery device. This appears to be a set of in-ear headphones, wired. Could this be YY2989? I initially thought that was a set of earbuds, but now looking again at the listing, it does line up with this mystery device.

The import filing did state "headphones without headband, wired" and wired in-ear headphones", which seems to match what we are seeing in the tease. The import filings have only 2 colours, black and white, again matching INZONE colours. In addition, the import listings lack any mention of wireless or Bluetooth. They did mention an "adapter plug", which I mistook for a wireless adapter. Perhaps the cables are removable like Sony's other IER in-ear wired models?

The pattern is there, so perhaps it all adds up?

YY2987/2988 - wireless ANC headset

YY2989 - in-ear wired headphones

YY2991 - wireless gaming mouse

YY2992 - wireless gaming keyboard

YY2990 does exist, but I do not have much information from import filings to really understand what it could be at this point.
